Made with only the finest materials and built by some of the most skilled craftsman in the business, all of the Ranch House Doors garage doors are designed with precision to add beauty and value to your home. The Shores Collection offers many designs and a great economical value. This mortise and tennon construction door comes insulated and has tru-divided lites and a 1/4" luan sheering system on back like a Custom Door. The Ranch House Doors Shores Collection provide authentic carriage house designs combined with historical charm, character and your own personal flair. The Shores Collection door also comes with the convenience of automatic overhead operation.

Shores Collection Specifications

PAINT GRADE SPECIFICATIONS

1 3/8”: Deep Plow rail and stile construction, sheared with a ¼” luan backing, making the overall thickness 1- 5/8” combined.
Finger Jointed hem fir rails and stiles (Clear rails are optional)
Exterior grade Marine Meranti plywood recessed panels, with or without v-grooves. (Panel Upgrade – Raised)
Double center stiles with V-Groove ½” wide
Tru Divided Lites – Unless otherwise noted on estimate
- Window glazing / Caulking is standard
- Thru and Thru Arch Optional
½ “ polystyrene insulation providing a R-Value of 4
Exterior paint grade Luan Mahogany plywood shear panel back
Pre-drilled and pilot drilled
End drill through bolt only – These bolts can be seen from the outside of the door.
Paint grade doors come factory primed white – Sanding is required prior to top coat

STAIN GRADE SPECIFICATIONS

Clear hem fir rails and stiles
Exterior grade Marine Meranti plywood recessed panels, with or without v-grooves. (Panel Upgrades are optional, such as raised panel or real Tongue and Groove)
Double center stiles with V-Groove ½” wide
Tru Divided Lites – Unless otherwise noted on estimate
Window glazing / Caulking is standard
- Thru and Thru Arch Optional
½ “ polystyrene insulation providing a R-Value of 4
Exterior stain grade Luan Mahogany plywood shear panel back
Pre-drilled and pilot drilled

Sanding is required prior to staining

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Standard Heights include 6’ 6”, 7’ 0”, 7’ 6” and 8‘ – All other heights can be built upon request and must be quoted by RDH.
All doors that exceed 7’0” in height will be four (4) sections. This includes but is not limited to 7’6” and 8’0” high doors.

Three (3) section doors, for doors higher than 7’ 0”, are available.
Standard Configuration:
- Up to 7 foot = Three (3) Sections
- Up to 8 foot = Four (4) Sections
- Max Section Height = 32 Inch (Requires 12”radius track)

Plywoods – Used to create a recessed flat panel appearance
- Marine Meranti: A Meranti face with phenolic glues multilayer core, no core voids. Commonly used in boats.
- MDO (Medium Density Overlay) : 3/8 “ or 5/8 “: A resin based birch veneer core plywood produced with phenolic glue for exterior use – paint grade applications only

Wood Species –
- West Coast Hemlock/Hem Fir (Standard): A blonde Vertical grain wood, less expensive than Cedar. Color consistent.
- Clear Western Red Cedar (Upgrade): Vertical grain only, to minimize movement, color matching, and longevity FSC. Color varies from light to dark heart brown.
- African Mahogany (Upgrade): The Khaya specie tend to be lighter in color, generally more of a salmon/pink in tint. However, dark ribbon and heavy grains can be shown. Higher movement ratio
